Our new project is ready to go, and will cover more than a million square meters of the irresistible Krk coastline. This will be a spacious complex created for vacationing in premium luxury, offering everything that a modern active and dynamic, or passive and relaxing vacation needs, in perfect harmony with nature.

The accommodation capacities can be divided into five entities. The first entity will be the main hotel, with about 580 rooms. The second, residential part will consist of annexes with about 150 accommodation units, while the third will comprise several small hotels with about 160 accommodation units. Furthermore, the new complex will include a sport hotel with 100 accommodation units, a sports hall and recreational rooms, and a golf hotel with about 100 rooms, primarily intended for those using the nearby golf course and additional facilities.

The main hotel will be constructed so that the majority of rooms have a sea view or a view of attractive facilities such as the golf course, surrounding greenery or outer area with swimming pool. The entrance to the main hotel will be impressive, decorated in the colors of the greenery and sea, and will continue onto a public area that is a central square forming the centre of the resort with all the common facilities – a street intended for shopping, cultural and congress centre, archaeological park, children’s playground and hospitality facilities, to list just a few.

Next to the main hotel will be 150 units of an apartment/residential character, all in the five star category. These will primarily be intended for families with children, and all others wanting both luxury and comfort. These annexes will be 100, 150 and 200 m² in size, depending on whether they have one-, two- or three-bedrooms.

The most elite part of the resort will be the complex of small hotels, equipped to provide guests with complete, premium service. These will be separated from the rest of the resort, in an intimate atmosphere, but within reach of all important facilities. Each small hotel will contain a swimming pool or jacuzzi, depending on the size of the hotel, and each will also be available for long-term rental.

Among the components created for the perfect active vacation, our Krk resort will include a sport hotel with about 100 premium accommodation units that can serve as a training base worthy of the world’s greatest athletes. In addition to the rooms, the sport hotel will also contain its own indoor swimming pool and relaxation rooms. The sport hotel will be separate from the remaining accommodation units, to ensure a high level of comfort and privacy for athletes and other guests.

The five-star golf hotel with 100 rooms will be situated right next to the golf course, and will offer all the amenities necessary to create a positive golf “atmosphere”, such as a golfer’s hut, golf shop, hospitality facilities, golf academy and children’s playground. With regard to a top-notch golf experience, we must also mention the complex of ten luxurious golf villas, with an average size of 250 m², that will be situated alongside the golf course, and the golf club which will include, alongside the reception and lobby area, a golf supply shop, dressing rooms and rentals of clothing and footwear, an exclusive restaurant and bar, and a special area for awards ceremonies following golf tournaments.

The resort will also offer other sports amenities: tennis courts, two football courts and an indoor sports hall with complete infrastructure for handball, fencing, martial arts, squash, bowling and badminton.

  

The entire complex will be spotted with carefully selected restaurants and bars, and other amenities intended for a pleasant vacation, such as a shopping street, wellness and fitness complex, numerous attractive indoor and outdoor swimming pools for all ages, diverse and dynamic children’s playgrounds and lovely beaches.

With such projects, built to fit today’s lifestyle, it is very important to ensure harmony with the environment. In our case, that means allowing the area of the resort to blend in with the magnificent natural environment of Krk. And we will do this is several ways. The first are the economic entities of the resort that will product their own, traditional, agricultural products, such as olive oil, cheese from our own cheese plant, and wine. The cheese plant will purchase milk and other products necessary for making cheese from all interested farmers in the area, while the oil-press will make oil from the olive trees on our land and from throughout the island. In this part of the complex, there will also be a charming museum to educate visitors about the life of the local farmers and the farming tools used in the past. Furthermore, the architecture of the complex will be inspired by the traditional, autochthonous structures that represent the centuries of architectural tradition on the island of Krk, and will further contribute to the impression of subtly blending into the landscape.

The resort will also have a lovely botanical garden lying right on the coast, rich in indigenous plant species, and interwoven with romantic walkways and stone walls.

Our resort will live on the sea, and it is understandable that we will pay special attention to the marine area and docks, that will be based on the concept of a traditional fishing village, with about fifteen berths and the possibility of receiving yachts and boats up to 50 m long.

And finally, our complex will be enriched with a premium, multifunctional congress centre, about 3000 m² in size. This facility will be made up of the main congress hall, about 1100 m² in size, and eight to ten smaller, separate, modular rooms that can be joined together into larger spaces. In addition to congresses, the facility will be equipped for hosting exhibitions, fashion shows, presentations, formal dinners and the like. Of course, with such a location, it would be a shame not to enable visitors to enjoy the outdoors, and so the facility will also allow for holding receptions, formal dinners or weddings on the outdoor terrace, with a view over the inspirational vistas of Krk.

Krk is lovely year round, not just in summer. For this reason, we have foreseen the possibility of multi-year lease of our smaller hotels for the purposes of team building, congresses and all other needs of the modern business hedonist. Filling the days is not a problem in the winter months: visitors can enjoy all the charms of winter tourism on the islands, from hunting and fishing, and numerous other entertaining, relaxing and active activities. 

Of course, this description is but a brief overview of the project, and the final product will no doubt exceed the power of words, and once again confirm the unquestionable vision of the Hoto Group and its credibility as a builder of good living space.
